T stands for....lemonade!

So glad I'm finally back at T stands for.... Today I'd like to share with you a glass of ice cold lemonade. DH and I don't drink a l ot of lemonade or other soft drinks, as we usually drink mineral water (uhhh, yes, healthy drinking *LOL*). Bit today I bought two bottles of our favorite lemonade. Already in the fridge, as we have a heatwave.

Haven't been here for a long time, as I didn't feel the urge for blogging. So what did I do? Lots of painting, knitting and ofc gardening.

There are some gorgeous calendula flowers in my garden. I collected the seeds for years and you never know what you get. All different.

And look at my potatoes! The plants in the potato tower are almost as tall as I am. Hope there are many potatoes underneath. :)

I participated in a fun art challenge on Twitter called "Mermay 2021". There was a prompt list for each day of May and you had to paint, draw, photograph etc. a piece each day for that prompt. Fun! I chose to paint each piece on an A6 postcard.

Not sure, if I showed you this yarn already. I bought it before Christmas 2020 from a local shepherd in a crowdfunding and got it some weeks ago. Started to knit a vest with it and it's gorgeous!

So glad I'm back abd can share a drink with you!

  4. Your lemonade sounds good, dear. I would love some, too, but I'll drink my cold coffee instead. Your garden is beautiful. I tried to grow potatoes once and got a few, but not enough to store over the winter. I'm sure you will get lots from the looks of things.

You draw so well, dear. I am in awe of then all, but the birds and the lighthouse drew my attention. I love how you colored everything, too.

Thanks for sharing your art, your garden, and your lemonade with us for T this Tuesday. I have added your name to the list to make an ATC, too.

    1. Yes, we drink lots of mineral water during the hot season. Lemonade/softdrinks are only a special treat.

  7. As usual American English differs from other versions -- we use the word lemonade for a non-carbonated drink made from lemons and sugar.

    1. I'm not sure, what the correct wording is in this case. Maybe a soft drink? Yes, lemonade was a drink made from sugar and lemons here, too, but more in the old days, I think, like something my Grandma would call it. The German word is "Limonade".

  8. Your paintings are fabulous and I love that most of the prompts were sea themed.
    Lovely colored yarn.
That certainly is a lot of potato leaves. I hope mine get as large.
    Happy Tea Day,

  9. I bought some lemonade today also. Like you, I don't usually buy it, but with the heat right now, it sure tastes good. Your yarn colors are beautiful. And I hope you get potatoes. I have never tried to grow potatoes so I am curious to see if you get some. I hope you had a wonderful T day, and glad you joined us again. hugs-Erika

    Yourwater colours are beautiful!
Wow those potatoes! Your garden is certainly growing well.
The yarn is beautiful. How much does it weigh? Is that enough?
    Happy belated T-Day,

    1. Oh yum, elderflower cordial! Juices are great, too. The yarn is about 100 grams each ball, DK weight, which ist about 220 metres and yes, it will hopefully be enough for a vest.

  15. We're having a heatwave so the lemonade would be a perfect beverage. The calendula is beautiful and I'll have to tell Himself about the potato tower. Wonderful mermay collection and the yarn is so pretty. Happy T Day
