Knöpfe und Perlen/Buttons and Beads

Was könnte besser sein? :)

Today two packages showed up at my place, both filled with crafting materials. So what else do I need?  :)

The first one was from Shelly of Hooked in Yarn, who not only creates wonderful crochet patterns and pieces, but also makes beautiful and unique buttons from polymer clay. I fell in love with her GIANT buttons and ordered two (plus three other sets :)). They are really GIANT, as they are the size of your palm, having a diameter of 6cm/2.5". Wow! They sure would look nice on a crocheted scarf or a vest or maybe on a pice of leatherwork or....or.... You see, the possibilities are endless.

Vielen Dank, Leah!

The second package was from the talented Leah Curtis of The Beady Eyed Bunny and was my giveaway prize. She knows that I love owls and made me a pair of her Rustic Owl Beads. I love those cute little owls and they speak to me (saying: add turquoise beads and make earrings ;)). Thank you so much, Leah, for those cuties!
