Zugefrorener See/Frozen Lake

Letzte Woche war ich im schönen Österreich und habe die
Berge und den Schnee genossen, vielleicht zum letzten Mal in diesem Winter. Ich
habe auch einen ganz besonderen Platz besucht und zwar einen zugefrorenen See
in über 2000 m Höhe. Im Winter ist der See zugefroren und für Wanderer und
Langläufer freigegeben, im Sommer fährt ein Touristenschiff auf dem See. Könnt
ihr die kleinen Leutchen in der Ferne erkennen? Es ist ein so schöner Platz und
bei dem nebligen Wetter an diesem Tag und der immer wieder durchbrechende Sonne
hatte der Platz auch ein bisschen was Mystisches.

Last week I was in beautiful Austria and enjoyed the mountains and the snow, maybe for the
last time this winter. I visited a very special place which is a frozen lake in
over 2000 metres height. It is deeply frozen during winter and prepared for hiking
and skiing then, during summer there’s a tourist ship carrying people around
the lake. Can you see the little people walking the lake in the distance? It is
such a beautiful place with the mountains all covered in snow. The weather was
a bit foggy and cloudy and the few rays of sunlight shining through were making
the place even more beautiful and also a bit mystical.
