Juhuuuuu!/Yayyyyyy!

Endlich habe ich die Nocken bekommen und konnte die Pfeile fertigstellen. Und das Beste ist, daß ich sie gestern abend gleich getestet habe und sie fliegen perfekt! Und nach dem Indoor-Test werden sie morgen auch draußen getestet. Ich bin ganz glücklich, daß sie endlich fertig sind! :-)

Finally got the nocks and was able to finish my first two sets of arrows. And the best is that I already tested them and they are perfect! So after the indoor testing they will go outdoors tomorrow. I'm so happy that they're finally finished! :-)

Das hier ist der erste Satz und ich habe davon ja schon ein Foto gepostet, als sie noch in Arbeit waren. Nun sind sie aber komplett: 5/16 Fichtenholzschäfte (40/45 Spine) mit marineblauer Beize und Farbverlauf, 5" lange gestreifte Federn, weiße FastFlight-Wicklungen, weißer Bearpaw-Nocken und 7 Gramm Messingspitzen, die ein Freund für mich gemacht hat (eine Nahaufnahmen könnt ihr unten sehen). Der Pfeil rechts außen ist ein wenig anders, damit ich ihn beim Schießen von den anderen unterscheiden kann: er hat eine historisch Panzerbrecher-Spitze, weiße 4"-Federn, die geklebt und vernäht wurden.

This is the first set I made and I already posted a pic of them as WIP. Now they are complete: 5/16 spruce shafts (40/45 spine) with marine blue wood stain and color shading, 5" barred feathers, white FastFlight wrapping, white Bearpaw Traditional Nocks and 7 grams brass arrowheads (made by a dear friend, see a close-up of them below). The arrow on the far right is a bit different from the six others: it has a handmade historical armor-breaking arrowhead, 4" white feathers wich are glued and wrapped. I made it different, so I can recognize it easily amongst the others and not accidentally shoot it.

Der zweite Satz. Das sind ,,Kopien" meiner Pfeile, die ich seit Jahren im Feld schieße. Der Pfeil links außen ist das Original und die fünf anderen sind die Kopien. Dieselben Schäfte wie bei den blauen, zweimal lackiert, um sie gegen Feuchtigkeit unempfindlich zu machen, 4" lange gestreifte Federn, Wicklungen mit Diamondback-Serving-Garn, passend zu den Federn, orangefarbene Bearpaw-Nocken und 70 grain Tophat-Feldspitzen. Ich habe auch noch ein Brandzeichen mit meinen Initialen und Ringen für die Numerierung angebracht.

The second set I made. These are "copies" of the arrows I'm shooting with for years now. The one on the far left is the original and the five others are the copies. The same shafts as the blue ones, varnished two times to make the durable against humidity, 4" barred feathers, wrapped with Diamondback serving yarn to match the feathers, orange Bearpaw Traditional nocks and Tophat 70 grain field points. I also added a branding with my initials and rings for the numbering.
