Hello and welcome for Thursday Art Date over at Rain's blog. "Swipe!" is this week's theme and I have to admit that I got stuck until yesterday late in the evening, when this idea hit me. I wanted to try for long ALL of the colors in my set of watercolor pencils and that was the chance to do so. A color wheel/rainbow circle something came to my mind. LOVE rainbows!
Then I swiped the circle with a brush and water. Love how this one turned out.

I'm loving how this one turned out too, a great way to embrace those colours and show how they transform when given a touch of water, so lovely like a hazy Summer's day..

LöschenWOW, now that's quite clever! I have a set of watercolor pencils. Why didn't I think of that? Oh well, my brain is mostly tuned in to pencil sketching or using my iPad to illustrate these days. I really need to think outside the crayon box more!
