YARN WEIGHT:
DK (8PLY / LIGHTWORSTED WEIGHT)
HOOK SIZE:
5.00mm
SQUARE SIZE:
12cm x 12cm
Make as many squares as you made from the last two patterns. I for example will make 11 squares.
Start with a magic ring. If you're not sure how to make a magic ring, you can find a good video tutorial here. You can also 3ch and work the 11 dc into the first chain from hook.

Round 1: 3ch (counts as 1dc); 11 dc into circle; sl st into 3rd chain of beginning ch3 to close round. Break off yarn. Pull the beginning tail to close the center hole and sew in tail. (12dc)
For a nice way to break off yarn and weaving in the ends, have a look at Part 1 of the CAL, where I shared a little tutorial.
Round 2: Join yarn in any of the dc from previous round. 5ch (counts as 1dtrc) 1dtrc in same space as join (2dtrc grouping), 2ch; *2dtrc into top of dc (2dtrc grouping), 2ch*. Repeat * to * 11 times; sl st into 5th chain of beginning ch5 to close round. Break off yarn.(24dtrc)
Round 3: Join yarn in 2ch space between any 2dtrc grouping; 3ch (counts as 1dc), 2dc into same space as join; 3dc into next 2ch space; (3trc, 3ch, 3trc) into next 2ch space (corner made); *(3dc into next 2ch space)*; **(3trc, 3ch, 3trc) into next 2ch space**. Repeat * to * 2 times and ** to ** 3 times; sl st into 3rd chain of beginning ch3 to close round. Turn work.
Round 4: Working on the wrong side 3ch (counts as 1dc), 2dc into same space as join; 3trc, 3ch, 3trc into next space (corner made); *3dc into each of the next 3 spaces, (3trc, 3ch, 3trc) into next space*. Repeat * to * 3 times. Sl st into top of the beginning 3ch to close round. Turn work.
Round 5: Working on the right side 3ch (counts as 1dc), 2dc into the same space; 3dc into the next 2 spaces, (3dc, 3ch, 3dc) into corner 3ch; *3dc into each of the next 4 spaces; (3dc, 3ch, 3dc) into corner 3ch*. Repeat * to * 3 times. 3dc into the next space. Sl st into top of the beginning 3ch to close round. Break off yarn.
