Starfish Pineapple Doily: farbig/colored

Und noch ein Seestern, diesmal mit Baumwollhäkelgarn Nr. 5. Das Muster gefällt mir immer noch hervorragend, allerdings kommt es in Farbe leider nicht so schön raus wie einfarbig (s. Post von gestern).

 

Another starfish, this time with size 5 cotton thread. I really love the pattern, but it isn't suitable for colorwork I think and works better in one color, as the starfish stands out more (see yesterday's post).

 

 

Aber ich möchte ja mehr Farbe in meine Spitzenhäkelei bringen und werde deswegen einfach mal ein anderes Muster ausprobieren. Wozu habe ich schließlich diese Schönheiten gekauft? Nächster Versuch: Eiskrem-Zuckerwatte-Sommerfarben! :)

 

But I'd like to include more color in my lace crochet and am going to try a different pattern. That's why I bought these beauties, right? Next try: ice cream cotton candy summer Colors! :)

 

 

 

Starfish Pineapple Doily

Ich habe mich mal an Baumwollhäkelgarn Nr. 20 getraut. Im Gegensatz zu Nr. 10 ist das schon sehr viel dünner und die Sachen werden deutlich kleiner. Allerdings wird Spitze damit auch viel feiner und eleganter. Sicher eine Option für manche Modelle.

 

I finally tried my hand on crochet thread no 20. In opposite to no 10 it is a lot thinner and therefore pieces turn out smaller. But lace turns out finer and more elegant with the thinner thread. Certainly an Option for some pieces.

 

 

Dieses Deckchen ist nur ca. 12,5 cm groß und hat 17 Runden. Das Muster findet ihr hier.
