Village Quilt - a new adventure

A very dear US friend invited me to join a quilt-a-long hosted by a local quilt shop close to her home town. Since I never worked with fabric precuts before, I decided to get myself a nice charm pack and join in. I could have used scraps from my stash, but those are already used for my scrap quilt. So here's my charmpack from Maywood Studios and the start of the Village Quilt.

I started to play around with fabric and colors and made the first two houses

Then I got a request from the Red Cross for sewing masks for donation and took a little break (can't say no to sewing masks for donation, right? :)).  But here are the next eight houses finished today. I'm not sure, how many houses I can cut from my 92 piece charm pack, so we will see. I'm going to make a small wall hanging and not the whole quilt, so I think around 25 houses, depending on the fabrics.

    1. Thank you! That's exactly what I was thinking, when I joined the QAL. Making others happy by looking at them and making me happy ofc, while sewing them. Hope you're alright, too. :)
