I made a bear square to add to my groovyghan (see picture below, bottom right corner), but now that I cut out the shell strip that caused the stretching....
.... habe ich ein übriges Bäremnmotiv. Ich habe ein Projekt im Kopf, bei dem ich auch den Muschelstreifen mit verwenden könnte. Aber was würdet ihr denn mit dem süßen Bärchen machen?

Amazing how the change from shell stitch to ripple stitch made such a difference in length. I love the way the ripple stitch looks with all the different patterns. Totally groovy. And now you have a left over bear square motif that can be used in another project. To me that sounds like a win-win situation. :)
