Nachdem ich mein erstes Apfeldeckchen meinen Eltern geschenkt habe, wollte ich schon lange eins für mich häkeln. Und nun ist es soweit - mit einer kleinen Änderung. Das erste habe ich mit weißem Garn anstatt wie vorgeschlagen mit ecrufarbenem gehäkelt. Es sieht deshalb sehr frisch und modern aus und passt perfekt ins Haus meiner Eltern. Und nicht falsch verstehen: ich mag moderne Häkeleien, aber ich liebe eben auch die Deckchen meiner Omas, die durch die Zeit gealtert sind. Und deshalb wollte ich dieses Deckchen zum Vergleich auch mal in ,,pseudo-vintage" sehen. Das Muster heißt übrigens ,,Apples for the Teacher".
After I gave the first apple doily to my parents I wanted to make one for myself for a long time. And now I did it - with one little change to the first. I made the first with white thread instead of the suggested ecru. It looked fresh and modern and fits perfectly into my parents' home. And don't get me wrong: I love modern crochet pieces and all, but I also loved the doilies my Grandmas made and which look vintage, as they aged over time. And that's the reason why I wanted to see this doily in "pseudo-vintage". The pattern is called ,,Apples for the Teacher".
