Die Brücke/The Bridge

Nein, nicht der Film, aber eine neue Zeichnung aus der letzten Students-Choice-Aufgabe bei Drawing Lab 2011. Ich kann gar nicht glaube, dass es schon fast vorbei ist!

No, not the movie, but a new drawing from the last students' choice assignment of Drawing Lab 2011. I can't believe it's almost over!

Das ist die größte Brücke in meiner Heimatstadt. Sie wird demnächst abgerissen und durch eine neue aus Beton ersetzt. Die wird nicht halb so schön aussehen. :-( Ich habe sie mit Kohlestift gezeichnet und dann mit Fixativ-Spray behandelt, damit die Kohle nicht verwischt.

This is the biggest bridge of my hometown. It will be replaced by a new one built of cement and wouldn't look as half as nice than the old one. :-( I drew it with charcoal pencil and used fixative spray to make the charcoal lines durable.
