Lisa von A Bead A Day hat mir ein paar Kleinigkeiten zum Perlen und Basteln geschickt und das erste, was ich bei den fünf Seaglass-Stücken aus Maine gedacht habe, war: Suncatcher (Kann man das eigentlich übersetzen bzw. gibt es dafür ein deutsches Wort, das mir gerade nicht einfällt?)! Zusammen mit einigen Schliffperlen glitzert die Kreation ganz toll und hängt nun in meinem Wohnzimmerfenster. Danke Lisa! Und haltet Ausschau nach mehr Kreationen, da noch einige Perlen übrig sind!
Lisa over at A Bead A Day sent me a little goodie package and the first thing I thought of when I saw the five pieces of sea glass from Maine: suncatcher! I added some Czech cutbeads and together with the seaglass they sparkle, sparkle, sparkle. The suncatcher is hanging in my living room window. Thanks Lisa! Watch out for more creations as there are still some beads left!

Oh, I love it. I love sea glass with it's irregular shapes and sizes and the matte finish. Sea glass always makes me wonder where it has been. What a journey

AntwortenLöschenThe wirework is made with alu wire, which is easy to work with, as it is very soft. It can stand the stress in decorative objects, but is not good for jewelry designs, as it would loose its shape.
