Schwarz oder Weiß?/Black or White?

War letzte Woche in der Norma und konnte noch einige Garn,,reste" abgreifen. Wunderbar kuscheliges Mohair-Acrylgarn! Zwei Farben und jeweils sechs Knäuel davon.

 

Went into Norma last week and got me some yarn. Heavenly soft mohair acrylic yarn! Two colors and six skeins of each.

 

 

Und was machen wir nun damit? Ich tendiere zu neuen Bezügen für die Sofakissen. Schwarze oder weiß Granny Squares?

 

Now what to do with it? I'm thinking about new cover for my couch pillows. Black or white granny squares?

Tigersocken/Tiger Socks

Als ich die Sockenwolle gesehen habe, mußte ich sie unbedingt haben. Ich bin normalerweise kein Fan von Tiger- und Leopardendruck, aber die Socken gefallen mir super. Eine Zebramusterwolle habe ich auch noch. Aber jetzt muß ich erstmal die Socken mit Spiralferse ausprobieren. Die tierische Sockenwolle ist übrigens von Opal und ein Teil des Verkaufserlöses kommt dem Verein ,,Rettet den Regenwald e.V." zugute.

As I saw this sock wool I got to have it. Usually I'm not a big fan of tiger or leopard prints and patterns, but I love these socks. I also got some zebra pattern wool. But first I got to try socks with spiral heels. By the way, the animal sock wool is from Opal and a part of the sales goes to the "Save the Rainforest e.V." organisation.

Vier Farben/Four Colors

Hier seht ihr die ersten Ergebnisse meiner Spinnkünste. Man sieht deutlich die Entwicklung der Garnstärke und Qualität von links oben nach rechts unten. Links oben habe ich zuerst gesponnen und rechts unten zuletzt. Nun muß es nur noch verstrickt oder verhäkelt werden.



Here you can see the first outcomes of my spinning skills. One can see the increasing quality of the yarn from top left to bottom right. Now I just have to knit or crochet something with it.

Und läuft und läuft....../And runs and runs.......

Hier ist ein Foto vom Ashford-Spinnrad mit der fünften Wollfarbe, die ich bisher gesponnen habe. Die vier ersten Farben waren aus dem geld-rot-orangefarbenem Spektrum und ich würde daraus gern eine kleine Tasche häkeln und danach versuchen, sie in der Maschine zu filzen. Mal sehe, wie das wird. Im Moment spinne ich gerade grüne und blaue Wolle für das nächste kleine Projekt.

Here's a pic of the Ashford Spinning Wheel with the fifth color of wool on the bobbin. I already spun four colors in the yellow-orange-red spectrum and would like to crochet a little pouch with the yarn. What else cam to my mind is, that I could try to felt this bag in the washing machine after crocheting. This would make the meshes disappear and give the bag a smoother look. So let's see. The next color spectrum I'm spinning is green-blue, also four colors.
