T stands for.......Christmas Knitting!

Hello! I'm back for "T stands for ..." after my two-week vacation! I stayed at home, but didn't really feel the need to post anything. Just running some errands and sitting on the sofa with a cup of coffee or tea and do some knitting. Christmas knitting that is! I ordered some gorgeous yarn with 20% wool and 80% acrylic and it's so soft. There was a loop scarf pattern coming with each skein and I really liked it.

Since the yarn is thick and knitted with big needles, the loops work up quick. Here's no 1 finished. Just need to sew the ends together. The colorway is called "India".

No 2 is in a rainbow colorway.

And then there is progress on my Stripes Gone Crazy cardigan. Gladly the sleeves and body are separated now and the rows are shorter again.

And since there is always a cup of coffee or tea on my side table while knitting, here you go! Can you smell it? Delicious crema, right? Yum!

  3. That yarn is gorgeous. You are right. I have been knitting a hat but the yarn is not so gorgeous. I went for the color. I love to knit and so I loved this post. Happy T day. Your vacation sounds like a very good break. I like the idea of staying home and just doing what I want to do and relax. Hugs-Erika

  5. Beautiful work. I used to knit when I was... ummm... a teenager. I must´ve been pretty boring... (for that age I mean).

  7. Sometimes staycations are the best. It's certainly true in this virus laden world we live in at the moment. You certainly achieved a LOT while you were on vacation. Those scarves are very unique and the colors were incredible. I was really impressed because I have been unable to knit OR crochet for years because it puts my hands to sleep.

Your coffee looks incredibly creamy and almost like hot chocolate. Thanks for sharing your beautiful knitting and your coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear. And welcome back from your self imposed vacation.

  13. What beautiful yarn! The result is a gorgeous scarf. I haven't knitted for a while (no time), but when I was younger I knitted a lot, especially on night shift when it was quiet. Nowadays it is socks I knit.
I'll gladly have a cup of coffee with you. It looks very nice coffee.
    Happy T-Day,
    Hugs,
